My Pottermore confirmation e-mail(s) finally came. Like most people, it was both delayed and confusing. For the people who signed up on the first day, it wasn't clear whether the magical quill process was enough, or whether there'd be another lottery.
There isn't.
So I have a spare Pottermore account that I'm willing to give away (username StarGold25, I believe. StarGold something, anyway. NOTE: You can't chose your own Pottermore username. They're all random.)
I've worked out how to change e-mail addresses and passwords, so should anyone want one, I can hand it straight over to your e-mail address and a temporary password.

Having missed RPing recently, here is the cure:

Microcosm RPG is the RPG for TV lovers who have always wanted to play a character that lives in the real - but rather dramatic and/or humorous - world. Microcosm RPG makes all of these characters available in ONE PLACE with a simple strategy: the main buildings and characters from each world (i.e. the Buy More, the Jeffersonian, etc.) all exist in one city, the imaginary city of Salem, USA. The edges of these worlds blur as the characters move from home to stores, hospitals, and museums. They go about their everyday jobs, living their everyday lives - until suddenly, unexpectedly, plots crop up and careen into their worlds. For example, The Fulcrum, a top secret organization with agents everywhere (including the government), operates in and around Salem, and the normal citizens must depend on people like Sarah Walker (CIA), John Casey (NSA), and Special Agent Seeley Booth (FBI) -- not to mention specialists like Chuck Bartowski (human supercomputer) and Temperance Brennan (forensic anthropologist). And when things go awry, there are plenty of medically trained experts at the Sacred Heart or Princeton-Plainsboro hospitals to mop up the blood.
Have you ever wondered what would happen if Sheldon (The Big Bang Theory) met Brennan (Bones)? Or John Casey (Chuck) met Allison Cameron (House)? It is all possible at Microcosm RPG!
We are also willing to incorporate other TV shows, if they take place in present-day USA and in a similar universe as the shows we have already chosen. Think about the character list as a guideline, not a carved-in-stone rule -- after all, we are looking for creative and dedicated players, and if you have more ideas, please do feel free to tell us about them!

So, having some of an itunes gift card left, I am in the mood for music. However I have no idea what to want, now that Pandora is unavailable to me. So if people would please rec your favourite artists/songs so I can try to find some new/interesting things, I'd much appreciate it.

Hi to all those on my friends list who are a part of ![[info]](http://www.insanejournal.com/img/community.gif) hp_causality.
I plan to get that actually, properly started soon. So I thought I'd ask a few questions first:
1. Do you still want your characters there? If you want to drop them, that's entirely cool, but I'd like to know before I start advertising.
2. I am half tempted to delete entirely and start again. Would anyone mind that? If so/not is there any threads you want to keep?

Signups have started here. Please feel free to get your forms in as soon or as late as you like (as long as it's before January 31st).
To better match kinks and pairings, the more participants the better. So if you feel like pimping us to your friends, that would be hugely helpful. We're advertising wherever we can think of, but if you see somewhere you think we can that we haven't hit, let us know.
